"Old Growth" is an archival limited edition fine art print. It's printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Paper, and signed and numbered out of an edition of 20.
This painting was inspired by my visit to Muir Woods, outside of San Francisco, California. While walking in the forest, I was struck by the light coming through the tree canopy, and by the mystical feeling of the forest. This painting, originally 48" x 48", oil on canvas, is a tribute to the feelings of mystery and wonder I had while walking beneath the giant Coastal Redwoods. I felt like I had stepped back in time, or through a portal and into a fairy tale.
